Firehouse Solutions Ltd was established in late 2005 to provide Consultancy Services to Specialist Software Companies that offer Retail Solutions to the Petrol and Convenience sector.

During this time I have worked with customers including Torex, RSM 2000 Ltd and HTEC Ltd on a variety of solutions including EPOS, Forecourt Control, Back Office, Head Office and Card Terminal functionality.

My work has varied from existing system review and enhancement, to major project design and specification, to specialist forecourt control coding, to full system design, development and implementation.

Prior to this, my specialist knowledge was built up through 15 years at Arciris / Torex.

In my capacity as Product Development Director I designed the successful Iridium EPOS, Prism Back Office and Prism Back Office systems, and directed the complete Product Development Lifecycle from Concept to Implementation through to Support and Evolution.

These products provided business critical retail functionality to thousands of retailers and remain in use as strong legacy products today with the customers of Torex (which has since been acquired by Oracle) .
